The Walrus Audio Fathom is a multi-function reverb effects pedal with four different reverb algorithms on board consisting of Hall, Plate, Lo-fi and Sonar. The amount of modulation can be easily adjusted using the toggle switch. When the pedal is off, you can hold down the bypass footswitch to engage the momentary function. This allows you to activate and deactivate the effects simply by holding down and releasing the bypass footswitch. The sustain footswitch is another handy addition as it allows you sustain the reverb decay for dreamy-sounding decresendos.

Best. Reverb. Pedal. Ever. Het enige nadeel is dat er geen pootjes onder zitten, maar daar is alles ook wel mee gezegd. Perfect pedaal voor diepe onderzee klanken en experimentele prog muziek, maar natuurlijk ook voor een heleboel andere muziekstijlen. Dit kleine doosje heeft alles wat je van een reverb pedal kunt verwachten. Werkt overigens ook prima voor een basgitaar.

Fantastisch pedaal, je krijgt er eenzelfde prachtige hall en plate reverb uit die je misschien kent van veel andere pedalen. maar de low-fi en sonar opties zijn wat dit pedaal uniek maakt. en door de decay, mix, en de kleine toggle die bepaalt hoe veel modulatie er gebruikt word, heb je heel veel controle om van een subtiele tot een oneindige diepe modulerende klank te gaan. Walrus staat al langer bekend om zijn hoge kwaliteit pedalen en deze is niet anders, aanrader!
